I have trouble imagining wanting someone I care deeply about to meet my parents, unless it were sort of an initiation type thing. "Well, this is going to happen eventually so... I think you should meet my parents." Or maybe as a warning; these are the fuck-ups who spawned me and we don't yet know how much genetics accounts for it...
