I'm on my way out the door and a resident strikes up a conversation with me.
"You're right next door from us. Oh that's the office, isn't it?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"Calling it a day?"
"Yep, I'm outta here."
"Well, I see you got your chaser," referring to the bottle of water in my pocket.
Old people are cool as fuck. Some of 'em, I get "drive safely." Some of 'em, they're like "enjoy your whisky and water, don't hit nobody."
